As a lot of you know the oil cooler for the power steering system are notorious for getting rusty. Mine was no exception so decided to get it sand blasted and powder coated.
After getting it coated I learnt that these were available new from BMW for £60 (if memory serves me right). Bit the bullet and bought a new one.
So I now have this spare.
Does have some pitting from where the rust was (see pictures) but is still solid and I reckon will be okay for a few more years.
