I just replaced the bushings on the driver's seat of my 2001 Z3 and installed the Seat Mod Tilt Kit from Street Driven Industries. I reinstalled the seat, tightened the rear bolts, then powered the seat backward and tightened the front bolts. Now the seat won't go forward and I can't access the rear bolts to tilt or remove the seat to see what the problem is. Any Advice?

Loosen the front bolts and see if the seat then moves.

Tony.

Bound up and twisted a bit on the back stops most likely because the drive nuts were misaligned on re-assembly. .. I did it twice... Both seats...drivers side stuck back , passenger forward. So having longer legs I got to drive the car for a while..;).. As Tony said loosening the front bolts will probably free it, but the issue should still be addressed, or it will happen again on full travel...

I disconnected the motor from the drive shafts. When I push the seat control switch forward, the motor spins backward, that is, the switch to move the seat forward causes the seat to move backward. When I push the seat control switch backward, I can hear and feel a click in the motor, but the motor doesn't spin. I'll try spinning the drive shafts with a drill to move the seat forward enough to access the rear bolts.
