I've just replaced the aerial grommet on mine; this involved unbolting the hydraulic pump as suggested elsewhere (many thanks to all concerned). It all went back together fine BUT the hood which used to close under power to about 50-75 mm from the windscreen frame now powers right on into the frame with a hefty bang. What have I missed or done wrong?

If the tensioners on the small front section of the roof have broken then you will need to catch the front of the roof as it closes to stop that happening. Sounds normal to me

Understood; just strange that it didn't do it before I removed / repositioned the pump??

Maybe there was some gunge in the pump / filter that was restricting flow / pressure and it has become dislodged 🤷‍♂️ is the roof any quicker?

Not that I have noticed - but there again didn't really take much notice before as I wasn't expecting this  ;)

So after a few days of use the closure is back to "normal" i.e. power closing stops approx 50mm or so from frame. Perhaps moving the pump around introduced air into the system that has now been purged?
