Poorly sheep

Some of you may of seen a sheep Sarah saved as a lamb in the snow about 4 years ago,he must of fallen awkwardly overnight because when we came to feed him the next day crow or magpies had taken one of his eyes ,he was in shock and we thought he might die but with a lot of tlc he's back .he needs an eye patch

Yes it's a particular problem at lambing time when sheep give birth outdoors we have a number of sheep with one eye ,but the worse thing is when they peck out their tongue as that leaves the lamb unable to suckle:(

I saw once on a Documentary that when people in the old west couldn't go on that they lay on their front and laid their saddle bags over their lower back so that vultures could not get at their kidney area , as that's an easy entry in to your body.
