poor materials

The z4 was around 30 thousand pounds to buy back in 2003 so says top gear ,that was a big amount for a tiny two seater.Some materials on the interior are disapointing.The two hooded binacles in front of driver appear to be cheap plastic,the spokes on the steering wheel also appear to be plastic,you push them an d they have that plasticky sqeak,especially because these items are directly in front of driver is poor finishing by bmw.They could have put in bespoke items here as befitting a 30 grand car,but they cheaped out.The z8 is brimming with quality bespoke fittings, and this elevates the car.Whilst you know i love the shape of the z4 i think the quality of the interior lets it down.
