My name is Marcia and I have admired the Z3 since I first saw one back in 1999. In 2006 my husband found my 2002 Z3 roadster on E bay and we flew down to South Carolina to check it out. Loved it. We bought it and drove it home to northwestern Pennsylvania. The car has never seen snow and I currently keep the car with me in southern California at our second home as the weather here is perfect for a drop top. I bought it with 11K miles and last week I rolled 60K on the odometer.
I joined your site because I had visited it several times to learn how to take care of my baby. And yes, I do a lot of the work myself. My antenna was recently broken off and I did the complete replacement myself. My next project is replacing the bushings for the seats. Your tutorials are so helpful and they have emboldened me to take on more maintenance myself.
I recently had it to the local BMW dealership for for it's oil change and a complete checkup to ensure that my baby will continue to go strong for many years to come.
