Please HELP immobiliser trouble NOW SORTED !!!!!!!!

=)) predictive text specifically designed to catch you not paying attention

Don't want to say yes but quite probably YES =))=))
Here could be worse if that all it is
But still get the battery tested if it starts in the morning as it may still be on its last legs

Yes the radio was on all the time.... Is this going to be me kicking my self up the arse.....
Could well be! Leaving interior lights on while working is another. Always turn them off if working inside the car with the doors or boot open. But also these are old cars now and we buy them knowing things can drop off them at any time. It's part of the fun, unless it breaks down unexpectedly and then it's just a pain in the arse!

Well.... I tried to charge the battery all night and it looks to be goosed... But then I remembered the car has every recipt with things bought or done, so I check for a battery replacement and yes it had a battery fitted in Dec 2013... So rang eurocarparts and they say it has a 3 year warranty................... But don't think the bill is transferable so I will take it any way see what they say.....

Good luck with that!

Well they have changed the battery for free.... But it still won't start
Bugger! Well at least you've got a new battery. Got to be the immobiliser then mate.

Yes still no ignition lights , it has a small key pad in glove box but I don't know the pin code

Is there any way to contact previous owner see if they have pin code. Next is got to be key fob battery after that the fun begins :(.
Still could be something stupid like a blown fuse problem with aftermarket stuff is tracing how it's all wired up

Well I have lots of recipt and found a contact number for the last owner... But he never had trouble and did not know the code... So call out Green Flag....
As I am waiting I started Google up and found some info

So I follow this and got 1Fob working but I managed to change the pin code to a new one..... Just as the green flag guy pulls up.... He looked at the car and said pleased you got it sorted as I would not get it on the back of my truck....it's too low :)
Happy days... I can now start the car and if it happens again I just put in the code and off I go.. So :thankyou:for all the help and input from everyone... May be keep this info some where in case it happens to some one else
