Is she a pearlised paint because I’m trying to work it out as she doesn’t look a plain white?

I was going to sell her, in a few months time ( well that was the plan before all this happened)
Now I think I want to keep her a bit longer or maybe a lot longer
I was going to get a 20/21 plate Z

@ktnez99 Why not simply buy another radiator & hose from BMW or Eurocarparts tomorrow, then take them to your man to fit before he goes on hols? It’s a quick & easy job.

Takes the guesswork out of it.

Then, whenever the parts you’ve ordered arrive - sell them on here. In fact I would buy them- the rad on my red Zed is probably 28 yrs old, so overdue for replacement

If your man also has time to MOT it, then great. If not, then as long as it’s driveable you can book it into any MOT garage and are allowed to drive it there in order for the test to be carried out. (Obvs need insurance)

Then at least you’d get some summer Zedding

Now this is an interesting solution!!!

I did suggest I’d get the radiator from ECP and get it to him after 9am on Friday but he’s made a commitment to his longterm supplier who said it would deliver by/on Friday. Earlier when we spoke, there was no delivery date. I’m on tender hocks wondering if this will arrive plus one of the hoses which I’ve ordered direct from BMW which was the quickest delivery time.

I was told the engine might not be any good, we were looking around for a replacement engine, which would of been really expensive

Yup..I know of 5 N20 powered E89s that have had to face the replacement engine dilemma…3 sold theirs to WBAC as is..unfortunate next owner…

It’s such a shame, isn’t it
I’m just so happy, that I could get mine repaired, my Z was only 20 seconds away from home when it started to go wrong, I’m just very very lucky

I always thought my son's 2006 Z4M Coupé beautiful but Snow White is a real head turner. My lad loves his much fettled for track days Z so much that he shipped it to Sydney where he now lives with his family.

That’s amazing ,that he took his Z with him to Sydney, how lovely is that , he’s so lucky he could do that too
