Nice to meet forum members and get hints and tips on my upcoming Rear End refurb. ( the car thats is!)
Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

Having seen a 2.8 engine( @Bazza ) and 3lt ( @Lee ) I have realised that there should be a lot more engine and a lot less space in my engine bay.......something perhaps I should rectify !!!!!
Especially now that the mysteries of the Vanos, which have been putting off getting anything bigger than the 1.9, is basically knowing how to fit a couple of o rings and a gasket, and not witchcraft as I had thought.

From the lads I met today, you can tell that there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum, so when I get in trouble in the next couple of months doing mine I know who to call:thumbsup:

Lee was the only one getting his hands dirty ........ although a pair of rear lights were upgraded, but everyone was sworn to secrecy in case a certain persons wife found out =)).

Lee’s neighbours must be very understanding, and probably think that on saturdays he works as a carer for help the aged

Thanks to all, I really enjoyed my first visit.

ZHQ is a great place/crowd! I wish it was a bit nearer so I could make it more often, I haven't been there is nearly a year I think, but it was great pool of knowledge, cool tools, and nice cars!
Very good attendance there, LOADS of zeds on that day!

Good to meet you today, those tank straps definitely look like a winner.

Great you were able to attend Malc  and as Mike (mwpe) said, the job you are doing on the tank straps is bloody brilliant. :)

Was nice to finally meet you @Mazza we've been like ships in the night at the last few meets.

Also look forward to working with those straps, to echo everyones thoughts you've got the design spot on.

Lee
