Hi i have a wind deflector to fit bmw roll hoops with finishing strip on the edges,bought from justroadsters last year £70 plus postage if anybody interested as new condition thanks tony

Can the original mesh one be left in position with the roof closed?

I don't have one but don't they all fit to the roll hoops, but as I understand it they obscure the rear view so I think you'd want to remove it... wouldn't you ??

The mesh ones do fit with the roof up. The centre panel between the roll hoops can be unzipped and rolled down. That way you can see through the rear screen at night.

I always used to roll it down during cruises as it made it easier to see the Zed's behind as well as in front!

Mine stays in place all the time unless I put something in the back when the roof is up. Quite handy for blocking out those that have headlights misaligned sitting behind you at night. Saves faffing with the mirror to dip it :)
