Performance exhaust recommendation for 2.2 Z3

Hi all - can anyone recommend a performance exhaust for my 2.2 Z3? I want to improve the soundtrack in order to make driving it a special occasion. Want something quite loud but needs to be able to pass MOT so not de-cat and ideally something I can buy off the shelf. Thanks!

I've got a Supersprint Cat Back stainless steel job on my 2.8 (I presume they do them for the 2.2), superb and just gets better with age. Not cheap though.

I have a pro flow 'cat back' exhaust, custom fitted at a garage in Doncaster.
It sounds more like a sports car with it fitted.
I love it and they can tune the noise level to degree.
@andyglym supersprint does sound good though.

Mine is stock and pretty bloody loud under throttle/revs and does nice little pops and crackles. It is quite an event and one of car’s main attractions for me. Maybe the one you have was switched to some cheap aftermarket at some stage? I’d expect this happens quite a bit.

Are you sure your car has stock exhaust? Stock is very quiet.

Stock is very quiet.

And seriously heavy, too. Still solid after nearly twenty years, some good steel in there.
