The wettest County in England is also one of the most spectacular when the sun comes out. Early evening blast around West Cumbria, 12.5C heat wave (factor 50 on bald spot), Billy Idol banging out and Bella looking resplendent. Great excuse to wash her now.

Cheers, next year I'll jack up a drive round the Lakes including Hard Knots Pass (toughest road in England, apparently) And Kiss, AC/DC, Iron Maiden. No S Club 7 though.
