Peeling Dash!!

Hi All

The recent (was it that long ago?) hot weather has caused my dash to start peeling / warping around the instrument binnacle and passenger airbag cover. Any suggestions for a fix?

Common fault with the (rare) extended leather trim. Rather than search on here, search google (Z3 Extended leather trim fix zroadster) and you will find hits about how to fix it…. However it does involve removing the whole interior.

tbh, I'm not sure. VIN Decode shows: Volleder Oregon/int.schwarz/schwarz - Q4SW - which with my limited German reads as"Full leather Oregon/internal(?) black/black"

Yep. Volleder is full grain leather the strongest and most durable part of the hide, try hydrating it first with a conditioner and see what is the result..

We've had to remove a few dash interiors to get this sorted. If it's not shrunk too much they can pull it back into place but our local leather guy replaces it.
