So after my little off-road adventure in the coupe I went to our local paint shop that we use for all our painting needs, it’s probably not the best but it’s affordable especially if you’re not in the market for a show quality job. I’m getting the crack in the bumper fixed and painted the whole bonnet striped and painted and a couple of different bits touched up. £370 not to bad . I’ve got a couple of spare front grills and even though I like the chrome detail on mine I think they are facelift ones I’m thinking of colour coding the whole grills or all black ,there’s smoked lights and the dark chrome wheels and very dark tints I’m not sure which to chose... unless someone has another couple of cheap grills and I can try out both even then I’m not sure I’d like either but I do like to be different lol.

Hugh that's a great price for your paint.
Underside looks much better without the makeshift birds nest.

Got to say I would either leave it ( your current grilles look like chrome surround black fins with chrome front edges if so these are sport edition model ones and quite rare ) or I would go all black.

I won’t paint the grills that are on the car now but I don’t mind experimenting with some others and the spare set I have the chrome is pretty ropey anyway

It's a shame about that I'm sure you'll get it sorted at some point at least you have the coupe to soften the blow of it being grounded at the moment.
