@Stevo7682 I'll be popping down to Swindon area to see @mrscalex in a couple of weeks, I can get it from there and meet you at J40 on the M6 on my way back if you wish. Somebody would need to get it to me in the Swindon area or en-route oop 'T North.
I try to help where I can with this sort of thing but they are a bit awkward to ask my lads to move about sorry Steve.
Stevo could you not use an independent courier on a slow delivery to keep the cost down,or try Shipley,about 5 years ago I bought a spare chassis for my gearbox kart from Glasgow,it weighed about 40 kilos and was 5 ft long x3 ft wide,it cost £60 to get it down to the Midlands,yours hoops would be a lot cheaper than that mate,I knew someone who's an indi courier who's not to far from adrian iff you'd like his number.

Do these independent couriers have a network where by they can transfer things like this in stages by helping each other, you know like the old wild west Stage Coaches used to do?
Maybe there's an opening for someone to start such a scheme, it could the cost of "one -off" item delivery by a lot I'll bet. So, if you do start such a scheme, remember it was my idea.

I can come ambush you guys at Durham, not far from me at all!@Mnbrennan and myself are going up to Durham on 2nd February if that helps with part of the Zedders relay team
I spoke to him about that tony ,your to late it's not your ideaThey do what you said in stages with other couriers they know ,a kind off (you scratch my back ,and I'll scratch yours)it worked for me on a 2-3 week delivery,and I was more than happy not having to do that journey,and saving the cost off fuel.

I guessed as much Jimmy and it makes perfect sense doesn't it? Shirl's cousin has an F1 stock car and he buys "space" in shipping containers to get things home from the USA for it at a lower cost when it's not urgent.

I was meant to meet up with him last night to get a set of speakers but the weather closed in too risky to travel .
