Being trying to find the part number (s) for the rubber gaskets/seals that fit between the door handles and the body.
Can find the door handle in the real oem but can not find the gaskets anywhere .
Can some one see what i can't ? Mine are perished and i want to replace them. .

While your there with the door cards off think about greasing up the window mechanism.

The genuine BMW gasket is supplied only with the door handle but aftermarket replacement gaskets are advertised on eBay. BMW does not sell the gasket separately.

It is not necessary to remove the door cards to replace the gaskets. The door handle can be removed by releasing a locking lever which can be accessed trough a plugged hole on the door. The procedure is detailed at the following link:

I had to order two door handles from BMW as my driver's door handle had one of the mounting lugs broken. At the time I wasn't certain if the gaskets were included with the handles. So I also ordered two gaskets from eBay. I replaced both door handles with genuine gaskets and found that eBay gaskets are good value for money and reasonable fit although they are not of the same quality as the BMW gaskets.

The pair on my car are really perished but the handles etc are in perfect condition. Anything will be better than whats there and if bmw had sold the part seperatley it would have been the route i would have taken but unfortunatly it seems they don't.
Thanks for the info though :)

Only ordered the door handle seals yesterday morning and they arrived today. Have to say its a 10min job per side and the seals fit brilliantly all the correct locating holes and the handle sits snuggly in the seal.

Before

Perished with bits missing, you can see how bad in the next pic..

They fell apart when removed and the new seal fitted.....

Tidy's it all no end and for a few quid well worth the effort...
