After fitting a powered roof motor it's given me loads of problems due to the electrical connection.
I have decided to replace the plug as it was mishandled when it was removed from the old roof.
Having spoken to Soper's they want me to give them the part number.
I looked at REALOEM but as it askes for Vin Number doesn't help as my car never had this part / parts when it was built. so can anyone help with this please.
Plug is a two part item
Pins to be crimped to the cables

Item 4 is a hardtop prep kit which contains the plastic plug and socket you need, ill keep looking for the plug/socket and pins as single items for you.

Click on the image and it will take you to a page with part numbers etc.

Various additional wiring harnesses - BMW parts catalog

So far I can see the 3 pin connector in the car is 61131378113 and the pins are 61131376191, still trying to find the loom for the microswitch

Silly question, can you see any part numbers on the plug connected to the microswitch, they are really hard to see.

Brian many thanks for your help but i'm sure the parts you have found will do the job as I think the micro switch isn't the problem

If you give these to Sopers, they should be able to get you a matching set with all the bits you need, this will at least point them in the right direction.

Hi Russell.
Now I've looked on my laptop your item is the part that is fixed to the car and it might come in useful.
The part that i feel is giving hassle is the plug that plugs into the part you have in your photo.

Well it's here mate and your'e welcome to it obviously..
