Part Number ID?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows whether the S50B32 Vanos exhaust piston is available as a separate part to buy?
Butterfingers here dropped it on the floor and the top chipped off
I can't find a part number for love nor money so I suspect I'm going to have to pick up a second hand vanos unit....
Interestingly pingu, you have the part on one your videos or site (I owe you a beer IRL, seriously, thank you SO much for your documentation, written and visual) in an exploded schematic: 003_Vanos_Exhaust.jpg (640×407) (porterbility.co.uk)...but now I look more closely, is that your handiwork in order to explain the mechanics a little better?

Thanks very much but those are the solenoids, not the piston.
But I will drop Doritech a line, if they're sourcing the solenoids, they might be able to source a piston too.
I've a feeling I'm out of luck though and they're just part of the Vanos unit as a whole since they're nowhere to be found on realoem (same with the Vanos oil pump assembly).

Apologies miss read the post. In there ad they state that the solenoids are taken out of units so hopefully they will have a part to sell you. All the best with your search.

Is yours a S50 or S54? Reason I asked is as another port of call https://drvanos.com/products/s54-replacement-pistons

I also just read a thread and the poster was able to source one through https://www.beisansystems.com/ part not listed on there site though.

I appreciate this so much.
I think we probably read the same thread (piston popped out, garage floor, floor won? The damage on that piston is identical to mine)
Mine is an S50 which I guess are a lot rarer stateside than than the S54 which was used in the later Z3M & E46.
But it's worth an email to check.
I'm going to try the usual suspects in the UK (CPC, Redish, Hack, Mr Vanos).
