Having had Ronnie a couple of weeks now I've had time to have a good delve about. I'm so chuffed with all the refurb stuff @Lee and Co have done. He sounds lovely, very similar to Reggie actually. Underbody is like a new pin 😊.

For me though it wants bodywork. I was looking at wrapping it but having spoken with one or two it appears to have too many imperfections for wrapping so I'm going to have it painted.

I do like the Madives blue and would happily have it the same again but if I'm paying this it got me thinking how much more would it be to have a full colour change. With the Zeds being only being primed in the boot or under the bonnet would I be right in it may not be excessively more expensive to do? I have had a quote to respray in Maldives but not spoken to anyone regarding a full colour change.
Any painters or peeps that have done this that could shed any light?

You won't be getting any change from £3k+ for a full respray mate more for a colour change. A cheap paint job is just that, cheap.
I've had a quote and there definitely wasn't change from £3k mate 😳. I did say I want a proper job doing, full strip down etc so expected as much.

Mine was £2800 less VAT (cash job) from a local firm a few years ago. A full panel off job too and your car is bigger.

The cars been 80% re painted mate.

I don't remember any imperfections that would show under a wrap, this is still your best option to go.
