Paint match

It is clear that my stratus grey coupe's n/s front wing has been repainted at some point as its not a very good match.. part of this could be because stratus grey is a semi pearlescent paint that changes colour in different light and consequently a bugger to match. Once l noticed it l can't stop looking at it so l was thinking of getting it repainted. However, with this type of paint do you just lose/blend it into the adjacent panel or would it ne better to get the whole front or side painted? @Tim beard

Its not a colour that I have painted however there are not many colours that you have to paint the whole side for so it should blend into the door ok, in fact there is only one colour that springs to mind that is a total bi*** and does require the whole side to be painted and that is Ford ST electric orange,
