Fitted new refurbed wheels and 4 x new Uniroyal Rainsport 3 (non XL) tyres today.. l was worried about how firm the right might be after going from 16" to these 17" rims but l was pleasantly surprised.

First thing l noticed was that the tramlining has completely gone.

Second thing l noticed was at motorway speeds the car was more settled. It had always felt a bit twitchy and l was always having to make minor corrections at high speeds. Not now - she runs straight and true which gives a more relaxed drive.

Third thing l noticed was how quiet they are.. massive difference from the Conti-Sports l had previously.

I kept the 20mm spacers on the rear wheels and this is how she looks...

Sounds like they behave as well on your zed as they do mine a great tyre choice give a feel of confidence in the zed.
Mines not a wet weather car but nice to know the tyres are more than up for it should i get caught out

Looks well does that. I think 17"s are the perfect choice for a zed although I'm on 18"s.
