Well i have been back to see this m in the colour i have waited 2 years for,Price £7,995 the exterior paint looks stone chip free, and nice and deep, great start! NOW THE BAD BITS,1.Discs need replaceing heavy pitting and nackered,2,Wheels need totaly re doing lots of bubbling,3 Boot lid has been drilled for rack ,and large studs in the holes, one seat badly scuffed and one torn a bit,NOW the real bad bits,8 to 10 boot welds rusty ,he said its from the rack ,But they are rusty and cracked his remedy was rub down and paint?????? Oil pressure did not go above 65 on 15 minute test drive as non Mdriver not sure what it should be,however it was a great drive,Ihave took pics for you to see the boot one are a bit blurd.

give it a month and a few more frosts and he'll be phoning and asking if you still have that £7k. Looks a bit of a fixer upper though, engine is dirty and the wheels need a refurb and OH MY GOD THOES SEATS.

I would give it a few months as well, anyone that knows anything about ///M's will pick up the boot welds straight away and immediately use it as an excuse to knock the price down. Like you say along with the other problems it would need a bit spending on it to make it upto standard.

With all the problems I would doubt he will get the asking price unless its someone who doesn't know much about these cars. Then you may get a call back?

PS Dare I say it but I don't think the interior is too bad ;-) I thought it was blue and green not black and that bluey/green colour. Wouldn't be my first choice but I could live with it. Would certainly be a head turner :)

all these bits can be fixed, but only worth 6k in present state, imho of course.

Looks nice in that colour, but I'm not convinced with having an interior louder than the exhausts though.

If it does need that list of work done to it, then 6-6.5k would seem about right. 8-9k should give you one that doesn't need much at all doing to it!

I actually really quite like the body colour too :x it's Nice rich colour. Looks great, especially in the front end shot! The interiors rarely photograph in the actual colour, they always seem to look a bit more vivid in the photo than in real life. All seems pretty fair with what everyone's saying about the price.

Sorry Pete but I wouldn't touch that M with a barge pole...
Discs shot.. Boot welds need attention... And the state of the engine block :-o
Rear window.. Interior.. Sorry but for the money you could get a pristine M

Look for condition not colour IMO

it hasnt been loved, like the one you looked at liam.

lot of work there, even if you get it for 6/7k.

a forum car is a better option.
