If the MOMO steering wheel does not have an airbag, it will fail its next MoT . . . assuming that it has one now! Likewise, the side-mounted number plate may fall foul of current ANPR-friendly regulations.

Perhaps it does look to many owners like a victory for enthusiasm over good taste, but someone obviously loves it, and the changes appear to have been executed quite well - apart from the ironing board! How the owner thinks he will negotiate the usual UK speed humps, or sudden changes in gradient - such as on a ferry or multi-story car park etc is another thing. Here is a similar car I saw at the Swiss Z3 gathering, with a different type of ironing board:
