Outside Air temperature Sensor

I’m sure this has been discussed many times before, but has anyone found a suitable replacement for the outside air temperature sensor that lives in the driver side sil next to the rear wheel? I tried replacing the original one (which had failed) with a cheaper one off ebay but it’s the wrong scale. I know originally it’s a VDO sensor, but I’m not sure which. Has anyone had any success in replacing it?


I’ve seen this on available – does anyone know if it is the correct spec?
