Afternoon all

I recently fitted the OBC and OAT sensor. It's all plugged in and working a treat, except there is nothing holding the OAT sensor in place.

I can feel there is a short tube in the back of the front bumper which leads to the small air hole in the n/s fog light trim (12), and the sensor fits very nicely into that tube - there is just nothing to hold it in place. I have MacGyvered a tie-wrap to hold it in place for now, but would rather find a proper solution!!

Am I missing a bracket or some sort of clip that secures the sensor in place? Looking at RealOEM I am thinking it could be related to parts 4/5, but they're greyed out so I can't get a part number or any more info.

I know I have a 6 cylinder bumper but the sensor is still located in a plastic tube fitting on the bumper grill, I’ve put a cable tie round it to keep it tight.

Surely that's all it needs?

Tony.

Aha fantastic! Thank you. I'll take my headlight out and have another look. I didn't notice that the tube had a notch that could be tightened up!

At the moment my tie-wrap solution is looped around the crash bar shock and between the two wires into the sensor. Hard to describe but quite janky and certainly not a permanent solution!!
