Wanted outer sills

as title.wanted set of outer sills for my 1998 zed.if anyone got any or know of any please let me know.cash waiting and will collect.my sills have seen better days!thanks in advance.

Your chances of finding decent ones in the right colour are not good. Decent ones in the wrong colour slightly better.

If you're in for painting them anyway I would get new ones. They are about £150 a side plus paint.

If you haven't already had the sill covers off be prepared for what you may find underneath. These things typically rust from the inside out. Even if there's only traces on the box section underneath you should treat it.

I agree, I bought 2 new sills from Sopers for about £180 but had to collect as they will not ship panels. I would give them a ring and see if they are still available for the narrow body. They are always very helpful.

thanks for the advice.i think i might try to make some end of sill templates and repair them.the centre of the sills are perfect so i will see what i can make up.the sills were not too bad to take off,had to wrestle with a few rusty screws but only took about an hour a side.must admit car looks a bit sad without them!
