This site aside, which i find very relaxed, informative and a general good place to be, most other forums, and i mean most other non Z related platform forums all tend to be very negative and all about doom and gloom about the vehicles and the service providers, too such an extent you would never ever consider buying or servicing another vehicle ever again, because apparently, they are all, and i mean all (according to the forums) always break down, spend more time in the dealers than on the road, and when they are in the dealers, they just want to rape everybody for what wonga you have left in your bank, and if that is not enough, then all insurance companies are criminals as well, followed by a quick dose of how arrogant BMW drivers are, the list goes on.........

Why is it that nobody ever writes the good things about their cars, like we do?.......................in the end you just need to take the comments with a pinch of salt, because it is not the voice of the majority, but it still amazes me.

There should be a general rule that you can only join a forum if your cup is half full.........

I have been allowed to inject a bit of what goes on on the Dutch Z forum onto Zorg.
The Dutch forum is very relaxed but very informative at the same time and no one really complain about their cars.
Most of the complaints are about people forgetting to pay their bar bills at meets, very funny most of them. (going Dutch ring a bell....?)

You should see some of the software forums I visit. There is one product which has coverage on at least 6 of these forums. Pretty much every post is hijacked by the same group of people whose only purpose seems to be dragging up the same argument. Over and over again. Problem is you can only escape them by not visiting the sites.

That's what @Mr-P says so very correctly. But 20 years ago your audience numbers were a lot lower. Your missus, your mum & dad, whoever was down the pub and your mates (if you had some). Occasionally Esther Rantzen!

Some sites are extremely boring.

Constant talk of cars only with no humour.

. Net is one of them.

I have left it now because of the reason above.
It's full of young lads making there zeds into chav mobiles with silly mods.

To illustrate my point I have just bought a battery for frank Martin due to poor starting, if I followed the forum, I have chosen the worst possible engine, my head is cracked and the injectors are leaking diesel into the engine oil, and I should sell at the nearest opportunity because I need a new engine.

Mean while, I checked the battery while switched off with a volt meter and while idling and deduced that as I only got 10 volts on the off position and 11 volts at idle, my battery was dud.

Mark feel for you buddy, and as you know this is the only zed forum I follow.

Mark is right in many respects. There are a few idiots on here and I am one of them..........
IMHO, Gaz has produced a brilliant site that keeps every one happy with the postings that are serious or just banter.
I think it makes it a great place to be............
