Its great for carrying doughnuts;), can fit quite a few boxes of krispy creme in the boot, if need more, i just throw em on the boot rack, how do you carry yours?

i actually don't love my car (theres a name for that):bag:, 3 years ago i had test drives in all variants of z3 and the overall package including budget, condition, insurance, tinkerabilitry etc etc, i chose the 1.9. it could have quite easily have been an //M or an early Z4, doughnuts never actually entered my mind, never done one, never had the hankering to do one, don't know how, and its not on my bucket list so...........

But having made my choice i have enjoyed ownership very much, like you say this great forum has lots of different types of owners, and i bet they all find joy in their Zeds, must do its addictive.....

I also have a T5, and participate in the T5 forums as well, now that beast has well over 400 Nm of torque what does the //M have?, plus it can carry way more doughnuts than the Z3!! probably enough for the whole forum...=)) i'll bring it to Silverstone as support vehicle.

i imagine your bikes are a different proposition all together, and do things the Z3 cant do, which as said earlier comparing engines across the Z3 and comparing //M cars with non //M cars, and vans with cars and then bikes is like comparing bananas with tomatoes, they are both fruits but............

So i reckon in summary you are right, it all comes down to Doughnuts and how you like em :) (me Custard from Sainsbury)

You're all wrong!

This is what I do to Z3s, 1.9 4 pots or straight 6 'beasts'!

You need one of these

Only joking of course, took this 1.9 16v back from Newcastle last week, my first really spin in an M44, great fun.

If that car was ready for the knackers yard, what was it like to drive?

Quite good fun, s*** brakes and pulled to the left! I wouldn't sell a car in this condition to anyone. Also noticed when taking some photos today that the airbag lift never illuminates, oh and the boot leaks like a sieve!

But the Cobra exhaust and the K&N air filter made quite some noise!
