My mum had one of these and my dad a Maserati Merak. I was too young to appreciate both cars beauty

Read this the other day, it was a great car in it's day, and if you can find one, still is! Very strong, muscular engine.

I used to park this car in front of my house and step away from it and look back at it hardly believing that it was actually mine. It was always a thrill to look at. They had rust problems though and with all that power would spin around on you the first piece of road ice they found....Frankie

This was my first sports car. I would park the car in front of the house and walk away and turn around to look back. I could hardly believe it was mine. It was always a thrill to look at. The cars had major rust problems, though, and were apt to spin out on an icy road. Very scary. I once opened it up to 143 mph up on interstate 91 in Vermont once. Speedometer went up to 160 and I think it could do it only I was too scared to try it.....Frankie

My mistake...I had a 1964 Alfa Romeo Guilia Spider Veloce BEFORE this. So the 240Z was my SECOND sports car.
