On the boot carpet. What does this signify?

Hello everyone,

I get that the answer to this is probably going to be really obvious so I apologise in advance.

What does the symbol (indicated by the arrow) mean? It's on the carpet in the boot. I notice that it's on some models but not on others.

Looking forward to finding out.

it is actually a symbol of a wind up style Jack. So i guess its supposed to help us locate where the tools and jack are .
