Just signed up to site so thought a test was in order, us pensioners are not all geared up to computer tech, so here goes...I did read a thread on setting oil service light, I have used this procedure several times in the past ten years but now that the hands are not so steady I wouldn’t recommend it, my buddy did it on his e36 saloon and managed to earth the wrong pin,”they are pretty close together”. Cost him £2000 to replace his Ecu. so.. it does work but so does the little contraption in my photo, it probably does the same thing and it also resets the fault log. Got mine off amazon for £5, they are still there for £7.50. So now to try and attach the photos.
