What is the normal oil pressure at idle on an M52TU engine?

As part of my changes on my car I have installed an oil pressure gauge so I have something more then the idiot light. I am used to engines having lower oil pressure when hot and idling but now that I can see mine drop I just wonder whats normal.

At hot idle mine is showing around 1.2 to 1.5 bar and very quickly rises to 4 bar when the rpms are increased.

Best info I can find is;
At operating temperature the pressure should be 0.5 bar at idle. The regulator in the pump goes off at 4 bar.
A general rule of thumb appears to be 0.6 bar per 1000 rpm
Of course its all dependant on the oil viscosity used and accuracy of the gauge

Thanks for that. Just wanted a second opinion as I didnt find anything specific online. I get a bit nervous watching the needle move down that far.
