I've just looked through all the events threads for the year searching for potential images for the calendar that haven't so far been submitted in the calendar thread.

All I can say is what an absolutely amazing year its been. Loads of events. Loads of people attending. Lots of great and happy days. Go take a look and remind yourself of what's been happening. Go and reawaken those memories. You will enjoy them again.

Oh - And, one member shines like a beacon in terms of photos uploaded. @Low Rider has submitted hundreds of photos throughout the year. He is everywhere

Thanks Ian but there are some quality photos upload by other members and I'm pleased it's not me having to choose which images to include in the 2017 calendar.
Now if I was involved you might find next year's calendar would be a 24 month calendar =))

It's always great to have a look back of what your done over the years :p
Memories are great ;)

I'm sure you'll find some cracking ones in my portfolio @Redline. Feel free to dig through and pick the ones you want to use lol!!! =))=))

You will have to look very hard at @Grumpy .photos . @Redline :p
He does try ;)

There is an artist in each of us trying to get out.
Some succeed.
Some try hard.
Some show promise of greater things to come.

And then there's.....some who know what they saw, but can never tell us. =))

The important thing is to remember that recording our experiences isn't a competition. Everyone is welcome. Every input is important.
One day will come a masterpiece. ;)

TY - There's some brilliant people photos amongst the events threads too.

You can - I could teach you to take great (or at least interesting) photos in 15 minutes.
Most people take photos just looking only at what they want to take the photo of.
Look around the image and get rid of anything that doesn't make your subject more interesting.
Move closer. "If your photos aren't interesting - you're not close enough" - Robert Capa

Absolutely Ian, it's not always about the cars.

Tony.

Well said Ian! We were chatting about this years calendar in the 'shed today. It was such a high quality finished product, but often forgotten how it was put together with "just a few snaps" taken over a year.

I almost can't wait to start the selection process for next year even though it's gonna be even harder this year!
