Does anyone have any fitted? Any photos you could share please? Not to everyone's taste I know but functional... apparently the fronts go straight on but rears require "modification" to fit a facelift so I'm not sure about it...will have a luggage rack fitted soon so the Z might have a divisive new look.

I have read posts from a few members on here that have just bought from Halfraude's and cut them to size.

I can see there will be some crap getting behind those and causing problems with the body work.
It looks like it already has, they need to be taken off and cleaned up behind regularly.

Yes mate I did have a pair of Halfords mud flaps on the front, you can easily cut them down to suit a zed.
I took them off to clean behind them as they do tend to trap crud behind them and I noticed there were some rub marks on the paintwork so I've decided to leave them off now.
If you do fit some I would secure them with some small self tappers, because the plastic fixings that come with them don't undo after a while.
@Mint has a set on his zed as well.

These are E bay ones, not perfect but they do protect the sills. You don't really need rear ones but it balances the look.

I just thought the rears were to big and bulky for me,iff u can wait il put a set in me boot for you try against your facelift Zed,at zedfest iff that helps.

Thanks Jimmy, I've got some but I've not had a close look at how they might be modified for a facelift and if they are will they look right? Add ons like this require a certain amount of commitment I reckon if you're drilling or making holes in your car... I Don't want to chop them up if I'm not going to run with them. I was hoping someone might have had front and rears fitted to give me an Idea.

Ide off thought the only drilling required was in the plastic wheel arch liner,for the self tapping screws ,and there's one underneath the rear bumper and lower arch liner,i didn't do mine I quickly used some cheap double sided tape and lined it up to give a rough idea to see what they looked like,I wonder iff real oem would throw up any different various types off rear mudflaps ?

Yeah good idea just holding them up to get an idea, I've just not had the chance yet, I'm only on to it now as I'm having some help fitting a few mods and I thought I could have them put on at the same time so wanted to get an idea. I like the look of the rears fitted to Mike's Z, but one thing to bear in mind is his car is black so essentially colour coded, I've got a Titan so the black stands quite proud so might not look as neat.

BMW only made the one kind of mudflap from what I can see, and the face-lift having a wider butt means they need a bit of manipulation... If they are not going to look like they are meant to be there then I'll not bother with them.
