Odd captive nut.

Hi all.
Whilst changing the top-mounts I noticed a captive nut in the hood well, any ideas what it could be used for please? Just wondering like! Ta.

I will hazard a guess at it being where the roof piston hydraulic hose retaining bracket fits.

Good thinking, I guess it’s on the opposite side on LHD cars? This one being on the right and my pumps on the left?
