How does the occupancy detector work in the seats?

I see an electronic box under the seat and understand its somehow tied into the airbags.

Can you disconnect it without any problems?

I'm looking at adapting S2000 seats onto the electric rails. I could take the covering off and transfer it over but not sure its required.

Perfect. One less thing to worry about.

I don't use the heated seats so will loose that for now. May add some heating pads later.

Had a quick look and pulled the passenger seat. Removed the rails from the S2000 seat and I think I can fab up an adapter so the bolt to the stock rails and motors.
