Zed Shed had a field trip today to a local (to us) kit car manufacturer who uses the Z3 as a donor car. The main reason we went was we needed a new roof and some other parts for Sams new Zed.

His process is fairly simple, buy Z3's remove body panels and interiors and rebuild them to a high standard kit car to the customers specification. This means he has plenty of spare body panels, lights, interiors and so on. He is a hard negotiator, but worth a call. Even charges 5 Euros to use the bathroom :p

Secondly, he produces some stunning looking kit cars in the more classic looks. Have a look through his site, I'm sure you will be impressed!

I like the first one, that's the least Z3 looking kit car I have seen , and it looks very nice too.:thumbsup:

Found this interesting. These are the seats he had fitted to the Kalifornia. The fronts seats are from a Rover 75, with the rear seat head rests fitted to them. I had a sit in them while they were on the ground and they are incredibly comfortable.

Asked if fitting them was difficult, but he just drills 4 new holes and bolted them in.

Always the best way to meet someone. I met the owner of a company in Saxilby who do re-mapping, while waiting for my meal at the Mandarin Take away.

It was actually when trev ordered a roll hoop from ebay. The courier didnt pick it up so the guy delivered it to him instead :)
