Not good.

Did they leave a note?

Or did a passer by see them?

It was a mate of mine and we were the only two cars in the car park! And he has reversing sensors fitted!

Oh no! Such a shame seining a lovely looking car liked that damaged. It would have been much worse either side though. At least it's confined to the door.

If it helps I have a Topaz Blue door in unmarked condition. It may be cheaper than repairing that.

Last Sunday my 6 month old 3 Series GT got keyed :( It's so bl**dy annoying when you do everything you can yourself to look after your car.

I'm not putting it through insurance as it's too much agro and not financially viable. I'm expecting it to cost up to £500 by the time it's blended.

That's at a very good body shop I know I can rely on. I can't take chances on a nearly new car.

With the Z3s I'd look for a decent back street shop. There's an excellent one in Swansea I'll give a go at some time. I'd hope you'd get your damage fixed for £500 or under. And that would include pulling the dent out or another door.

You could do some of the work yourself to keep the cost down. It's easy to strip the door. And easy to swap another one on if required. But it could save you £100+.

Ohh , I feel for you there,I love your colour Zed,at least it was your mate ,or ex mate who done it ,it may turn out they after blend the colour out into the rear quarter panel and front wing to get it spot on,I'm gutted for you.
Thanks
Jimmy.

For £500 I'd expect a blend. But it's got pros and cons on an older car depending on condition of surrounding paintwork.
