Why I bought a car with black interior, having spent over 2 hours cleaning the driver's seat, door card and footwell on the oil burner.

Great improvement I have to say. Now it needs washing and claying and polishing.

Steam cleaner on it Tony.... A bit of gentle steaming will lift out the grime

MrsW has a Tiguan with that colour leather. Looks great when it's clean, but boy can it get grubby quick. Found some stuff called 'Star Drops' which is a leather cleaner/maintenance spray. I give the seats a wipe over with it every time I wash her car and I have to say it does keep them looking pretty good.

When looking for a replacement daily (Evoque) last year, l had my mind set on a white leather interior until I saw a couple, the blue denim stains on the seats soon put me off that idea.
