It was most definitely not Z country on International Drive in Orlando this evening. It was almost a foot deep at the kerb.

That was the product of a 10 minute downpour. That's why they have such deep kerbstones over here. When it rains, it rains. But 20 minutes later it's bone dry again. Sub tropical climate. Ce la vie!:):)
 
Yep remember experiencing one or two of those monsoon moments on our trips there.
 
Yes we had one of those monsoon rainstorms a week ago when landing at Charlotte Airport. Nice and warm and sunny now in Myrtle Beach. We saw our first Z3 today coming away from Murrells Inlet.
 
Winnipeg had 100+mm of rain over twenty minutes a couple of weeks ago. Flooded underpasses with pics of people swimming and canoeing down their streets in front of their homes. We only got 50+mm so were fine. But, still didn't have to shovel it. JIM

I was in Singapore working and realised why the downpipes from the gutters are so big when it rains it means to and then stops.
