Been a little quiet on the z front lately i managed to fit the new rear screen.simple but after zipping it in it has to be glued....went all over ,it's stuck but a little messy it comes off but i cba and no one sees it when the top is down ;)
Its been a bit of a roller coaster lately as we buried a very good friend of mine 3 weeks ago,he was diagnosed at xmas and lasted until April ,it been a bugger the day the hospital refused him any more chemo he asked us round to be bearers he was gone a week later .42 year's and2 young boys. Cancer is a b*****d .Im still cancer free and and almost feel guilty that im a survivor . Have to get another operation later on in the year but its just maintenance lol. On a lighter note my buddy is getting married soon so we all flew over to Ireland to watch the racing at the north-west 200 .....its epic.the last time i drank so much we had to carry @PHILIP BAXTER to bed.Just to keep out of the the pub we saw the giants causeway snd the rope bridge and called at joey Dunlop s bar.Came home and25000 day old partridge chics turned up never a dull moment:) . Ive just got to change plugs oil and filter and reseat the front tyres in the 2.8 and we'll be ready for the italian job. Looking forward to the trip

Good to here from you Hugh. Not hearing much at all from some of the long term names now. Yourself, @MAURICE THE MARTIAN, @TaffZee to name a few.
You have nothing to feel gulity about mate, it's a b*****d of a disease and can get anybody at any time. One if my best mates is watching his wife disappear in front of his eyes at the moment, one of my brothers guitarists from his band had an op yesterday for prostrate cancer. The list goes on.
I see you enjoying life on Facebook, you've had a s*** time of it so continue to full your boots mate. Ooh and well done on doing your zed window, I hear they are a right bi***!

Good morning Hugh, sorry to hear about your friend but it's great that you're ok. Hope to see you and Sarah soon

Hi bud re.the screen it’s quite simple if you get your mate to help you,if on the other hand you chose to ask your wife it can soon develop into a life threatening experience.....I have to say it’s not as nice as an original it doesn’t have the rubber lip to tuck under just glue

We won't let Sarah read your post then Hugh =))

I agree it is a bit of a b#*%#^d!
I was diagnosed with what they think is lung cancer last week. I have a meeting with the surgical team on Thursday and they will decide what to do then.
Don’t feel guilty about being a survivor, good on you for beating it and I only hope I can join you!

Hard time but don't feel guilty feel blessed. Good luck to you and Dalek.

Mate I feel for you, I can only share my positive story and hope you can get something out of it.When your seeing the consultant and he asked if you have someone with you it’s not going to be good news.Mine was high on a Gleason scale and the stuff they tell you makes you swallow a bit harder ,but I might not be the brightest spark in the fire but I have been blessed with a positive mental attitude I know it’s a bit of a cliche but it really helps.Set your mind to doing what it takes to get better and jump on for a wild ride.ive had 5 operations and various treatments in 8 years but I’ve also had some amazing experiences. Its bloody tough sometimes but just take a look at the faces of your family and pick yourself up for them.I have to say days out in the Z helped me and Sarah get through a lot of stuff. Good luck buddy :)
