That's customer service and a humanitarian. I was so surprised at the other story though I certainly would not have gone that way.

That's a load of crap mate. There has been phone recorded footage from the seat behind showing he offered no resistance, did not raise his voice even.

ps. But even so, the Airline should not have over sold this flight, especially if they knew that they had to move crew to "Fly" this plane back after this flight. They SHOULD have held 4 seats clear for their staff, if an Airline cannot do this then that is shameful. Profit above anything?

Is that not the same as all companies.
Still disgusting what happened to the guy and i hope he makes thousands out of a court case.
I have heard a lot of good things about Etihad Airways
 
Etihad Airways are superb. You can't fault them...although if you book with them double check they are not running a flight using one of their "partner" airlines.. Indian airline Jet Airways are well below the standard of Etihad.. I'm not sure why they risk their reputation.

British Airways sold my seat once... They didn't remove me from the flight though they broke the news to me at check in.. I was not impressed.. I was given the last seat on a Qantas flight... Squeezed into an aisle seat with a curious metal box where my feet were supposed to be... I was far from happy.. To top it off they had this old, camp, Aussie bloke flight attendant with the biggest mouth and the worst jokes in the world...it was a loooong flight. :sour:
