For my birthday treat we had a fantastic top down day out Zedding around the North Pennines AONB and then across to the Lake District. I had already planned a route before @andyglym's Lakes Tour. But the second route was so stunning we decided to do part of it again so did a bit of making it up as we went along. The Newlands Valley is superb, well found Andy.

That's the Newlands Valley in the Lake District. Not too shabby.
