Smart GT6 mk3, I had one back in the early '70s,
Had exactly that model (Mk3) and colour in 1979/80; used it when we were married. Seem to recall it rattled much more than a MGBGT had previously and rusted badly above the front window, at 5/6 years old! Nice memory, but likely best left in the past!! :)
Traded it in for a Scimitar SE5a; that's another story.:(

Nice 6a (I think). Had a green one of those in 1995; slight hankering for another, maybe!! :)

This one was in excellent condition Ian, but the brown and beige colour scheme didn't do much for me. 70s !! A lot of brown cars, I'd like know who went to a showroom and said, 'I like this pimento red TR6, but can I have one in shitty brown?'

Ha Ha. We bought my daughters first car, a 998cc Leyland mini in Russet brown (I think that's what the colour was called) when she was at 6th Form college; car known to her friends as "the turd" - fortunately, she has always liked to be different!! :)
