Sounds flimsy.
Check heat shields and brake disk dust covers first.

Try pulling the parking brake on just a couple of clicks as you drive to put tension into the cables and see if it goes away.

Probably the brake disk dust covers then. They tend to rot away

Did you try pulling the brake on a couple of clicks or not? The rattle is from inside the rear hub, if that's what is causing it.

But, did you pull the lever up a couple (2) clicks as you were driving? Simple question. Yes or no.

Well then try it. If it doesn't work I will try to think of something else it could be. IF it stops the noise I will tell you what to do, if it doesn't I will try to think of something else it could be Mike.

Yep! Just as I thought.
I thought from your "The rattle is from inside the rear hub" comment and your advice to tension the handbrake cable, that it was going to be a handbrake issue!

Read the post properly then.

IF it stops the noise I will tell you what to do, if it doesn't I will try to think of something else it could be Mike.
He never asked what to do, did he?
