Over the last few nights, I’ve been driving around Yorkshire with the roof down on my z3. Whilst this may seem completely odd / daft, I urge those who haven’t done it to try it. The feeling is surreal, the cabin is backlight with the instrument binnacle light, but everything else is completely black, giving an amazing sense of space. The country roads / lanes I was driving along were darker than dark, with some hedgerows and oncoming traffic giving a sense of perspective, then when I get into urbanised areas, the streetlights flood the car with light giving a different sense of space.
The look from pedestrians and other drivers as I whizz by in my roofless car at night also made me chuckle.
Needless to say, heater to full and seat heaters on!
