I couldn't believe what I saw when I arrived home from work last night
It was only the last few minutes of the last round before the referee called the ring side doctor over to look at Nick Blackwells left eye
I couldn't believe how swollen it was .......
It made me feel ill
I had to look on the Internet to make sure he was ok
He's got a bleed to the skull
How ever someone can put their selfs through that I don't know
I'm glad he is ok
I don't watch boxing but I just see the end of it
Next time it's on , I think I'll go straight to bed

Nick Blackwell was the British Champion until last night. He is a very experienced fighter but the reason he took so much punishment was because the referee allowed the one sided fight to go on for so long.

The fight should have been stopped after round 5.

I hope he recovers quickly, and after the beating he took last night, may be he shouldn't fight again.

Completely agree, even Eubank senior was saying to his son that he didn't know why it wasn't being stopped.
