Well as it was pointed out to me in a picture.... No names mentioned like but you know who you are...... Haha my new diff bush has arrived , I have to say it's not as stiff as I thought quite plyable... Any hints and tips before I start to do it?? Or is it just support car on axel stands where jacking points are, then trolley jack under diff/axel , take weight remove bolt drop axel down remove old fit new ... Bobs ya uncle fannys ya aunt???

Mines a purple powerflex which i bought a while back but not a job for a girl so next time it's in the garage it will get done hopefully.

Don't forget when you remove the old bush you need to cut the ring out before fitting the new one.

Yes I seen the ring on other ones, but with this being polyflex it don't need a new ring is that correct?

Well that's it done.... The old one did not look too bad

Bit of an extreme way of celebrating, surely?
All the best for a good recovery, you don't want to be wasting the summer (been there, done that) but take it easy till you're properly fixed. One of the girls at work came back too early last year after getting broken by a horse, wound up having to be off twice as long. Young people just won't listen.

Good news is the arm is not broken...... But I have about 20 stiry strips, then padding then a bandage ..... So alls good. :thumbsup:

Did you treat the rust on the diff mount and cross brace or did you leave it to the rust termites to hold hand?
