Newest z3's

hi, just wondering when the last z3's were sold? I know it was in 2002 sometime as the z4 was launched in 2003.
Our car is a late September 2002 which must be fairly near the last ones sold, anybody have a newer one?

Do you mean sold/registered or manufactured? There are some 03 registered Z3's out there which is the first half of 2003, and I think I recall seeing a 53 plate which is second half.

I've also seen a 54 plate (2004 Second Half) Z3 as well. We got the owner of that one to check it with the DVLA and BMW and it was correct. There is a thread on here about it somewhere.

That's suprising as the z4 was being sold by then, old stock maybe?
Our car was sold in September but I think it was made in jan or February?

We'll, 34 were registered in 2004, and 26 in 2005. Weird ish happens.

My car, although it was built on 17th June 2002, just days before the end of production, was registered for the first time in September 2002.

I found out that when importing a vehicle to Canada our Gov't totally ignores registration dates and will only accept the date affixed at the factory upon completion on the line. Also the vehicle must be 15 years old according to that date or older or it can't be imported unless from the USA and MEXICO.
