Newcomer to zroadster

As I wrote recently Zebedee behaved perfectly on the 90 mile return trip to Aldermaston, West Berks, but for an Engine Management light appearing after some 60 miles.
Local garage diagnosed an oxygen sensor replacement plus completed a full inspection. I decided to instruct them to undertake all of their recommendations ( broken exhaust support, pitted front discs, and rear tyre replacement ) some of which I should have noticed on purchase but she looks a beauty so I am happy.( how do I post pictures I have put a couple on Media ).
A special mention for Mike Lewis who sold me the car from Forest Auto Sales in Whitecroft in the Forest of Dean. No quibble about paying for the engine issue plus sent a goodwill cheque by return for £100 for my troubles. I can’t think there are many garages would do this so my praise is well deserved. Thanks Mike

Hi

We have just bought a Z3 1.9 Sport and are looking forward to collecting Zebedee this week. The car has been SORN’d for two years but seems ok - let’s hope so. We used to own Z3 before getting a black Labrador and now following retirement have the time to enjoy between dog carrier estate and soft top -weather permitting.
Spent the last two days clearing the garage ready for new arrival a long overdue task necessitating multiple trips to the local tip !!

Hi Frankie

We have three dogs one of which a Jack Russell is called Frankie. Sadly our new, to us, Z3 is too small for them to go out in so we get a dog sitter, Barney is only 9 weeks old, for our Z3 secret pleasures. Hopefully next UK summer will be warm dry and fine - well we can always dream!
